Travis Wright on Homelessness and Poverty

Travis Wright is an Assistant Professor in the Counseling Psychology and Early Childhood Education Department at UW- Madison. He is also Director of The BASES Project (Building Academic, Social, and Emotional Supports for Children Experiencing Homelessness). The BASES Project is a school and community-based intervention for homeless preschool students, their families, and teachers. Dr. Wright is a nationally recognized expert on resilience and emotionally responsive teaching, especially for children developing in the midst of adversity.
