Tu B'Shevat Seder

Many Jews celebrate the "The New Year of the Trees" by eating new fruits, donating money to environmental organizations and by planting trees. In the 16th century Jewish Kabbalists in the city of Safed developed a seder on Tu B'Shevat to symbolized the four worlds of mystic Jewish thought.

Please join us for our Tu B'Shevat celebration with cantorial soloist, Michele Rozansky. There will be some guided meditation and a wonderful, mindful Tu B'shevat seder with singing. Sign up to bring fruits, nuts and wine and juices to share. We will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. with the seder, followed by a potluck dinner. Please bring a vegetarian dish to share. Located at a member's home. For questions and location please contact the CSS office at office@shamayim.org or 257-2944.
