Ninety-five percent of the water in Gaza is unfit for human use, posing grave health risks, especially to children. We are pleased to report that we have now met our goal of raising $16,000 to install a water filter in a school in Gaza. 3,250 children and their families will soon have access to clean drinking water due to our support. Thanks to our partners: First Unitarian Society, Jewish Voice for Peace-Madison Chapter, and the Madison Rafah Sister City project and to everyone who contributed to this effort.
