The following policies have been passed by our Steering Committee in consultation with our Covid Advisory Committee of medical professionals and public health experts. (March 31, 2022)

  1. All participants who are eligible and able to receive vaccines must be fully vaccinated and boosted.
  2. Anyone who is symptomatic must stay home.
  3. We will continue to mask indoors for all community events. Masks are optional outdoors.
  4. We no longer limit the number of people who can attend events, regardless of whether food is served.
  5. People who are leading services on the bimah do not need to wear masks. Leaders who are not on the bimah and are sitting in close proximity to others should still wear masks. We do not require leaders to be tested prior to the service.
  6. Masks may be removed indoors for events when people are actively eating and drinking.
  7. For individual havurot (small groups) and committees, we will allow participants to decide what they would like to do.
  8. We will continue to follow the policies of the Madison Metropolitan School District for our Gesher program (Kindergarten-7th graders). Masks are required indoors and optional outdoors.
