Celebrate Shavuot and reflect on Jewish wisdom in the midst of a pandemic. We’ll gather on Zoom for a Shavuot service followed by a panel entitled “Jewish Resilience in Difficult Times,” moderated by Rabbi Andrea Steinberger. Our presenters will be Rabbi Jonathan Biatch, Rabbi Laurie Zimmerman, Rabbi Renee Bauer, and Cantor Jacob Niemi.

Following the panel, four physicians -- Dr. Allison Miller, Dr. Michael Traktman, Dr. Jeff Marcus, Dr. Ken Felz -- will share their personal reflections of serving patients affected by COVID-19.

We will conclude the evening hearing reflections from two young people, Simon Rosenblum-Larson and Alex Kushner, and two elders, Hilde Adler and Judith Heilizer, on their experiences navigating quarantine.
