- Yizkor (in-person + online) – In our memorial service, we do some of a traditional service but also leave time for individuals to say the name and a sentence about the person whom they are remembering and, if in person, place a stone in water to mark their loss. Led by Rabbi Laurie and Everett Trechter.
2:15 p.m.
- Avodah (in-person + online) – Traditionally, Avodah is a recitation of the sacrificial service of the Temple in Jerusalem. Our ancestors brought sacred offerings to the Temple; today we bring a very different sort of offering – offerings of poetry, music, and stories. If you have a poem, song, or story to share, please bring it. Led by Jeff Spitzer-Resnick.
4:00 p.m.
- Program TBD
6:15 p.m. (final shofar 7:01 p.m.)
- Neilah (in-person + online) – Our Neilah service begins with twenty minutes of meditation led by Jeff Spitzer-Resnick. It ends with a final shofar blast and havdalah. If you are at home you may wish to use your own havdalah set.
7:30 p.m.
- Break Fast Potluck – We conclude the day with a community-wide break fast potluck. Please bring a vegetarian dish to share. (Feel free to leave it in the kitchen during Neilah services. Bring enough food so we don't run out!)
