Community Passover Seder - Thursday, April 9
Thursday, April 9, 5:30 p.m., second night of Passover
First Unitarian Society, 900 University Bay Drive, Commons
We're so pleased you will be attending our Community Passover seder. Shaarei Shamayim will provide the space, seder leaders, haggadot (books that you'll read from), dishwashers, and an online food sign up. You'll provide the food, setup and clean up of the seder, and great energy! Last year we had around 50 people. This event is successful only when everyone signs up to bring something -- a cooked dish or wine/matzah plus the ritual items.
Please fill out this form to help us with the planning.
Registration must be completed by Friday, April 3
.
Please contact Joy Zotalis with any questions at 257-2944 or office@shamayim.org.

Event Planning Information
Tell us about how you feel about kitniyot (corn, rice, beans, etc.) on Passover.
I would not want to be at a seder with kitniyot.
It's my custom to eat kitniyot but I will refrain from doing so if others don't want it at their seder.
I do not mind if others eat kitniyot, but I myself do not eat it.
What kind of seder are you interested in attending?
Short and sweet.
Nice and long so we have the opportunity to discuss important issues that arise.
Somewhere in the middle.
No preference.
We are counting on everyone helping with either setup or clean up. Which do you prefer?
Help with setup
Help with clean up
I can help with both
I am unable to help with either
Let us know if you have any ritual items you can bring, such as kiddush cups, matza plate, afikomen bag, etc.
If there are particular political or religious issues that you wish to focus on in the seder please let us know what they are.
Is there anything else you would like us to know?
